Israel may give duty-free status to Indian garments

 
The assurance was given by Moshe Kazav, the Israeli President when the Indian delegation of Confederation of India Apparel Exporters lead by JB Jain, honourary secretary, CIAE called upon the Israeli President in Tel Aviv recently.

Mumbai, July 17: Israel would consider the possibility of providing duty free import status to apparels from India.

The assurance was given by Moshe Kazav, the Israeli President when the Indian delegation of Confederation of India Apparel Exporters (CIAE) lead by JB Jain, honourary secretary, CIAE called upon the Israeli President in Tel Aviv recently.

During the meeting, Jain briefed the Israeli President about the performance of Indian apparel exports, which has been recording a growth of over 25% annually, post quota-free regime.
