Jaipur: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, who along with boyfriend Raj Kundra has bought 12 per cent stakes in Rajasthan Royals, will bring out a promotional video next month for the defending Indian Premier League champions and pull in the crowd.

Utkarsh Singh, business development head of Rajasthan Royals, said the video would be launched by mid-March.

"Apart from this video which would be out by mid-March, she would be present in all Rajasthan Royals matches at home and away. After all she is now a stake holder in Rajasthan Royals," Utkarsh said.

He said the Shane Warne-led Royals could play two of their seven home matches in Ahmedabad.

"Rajasthan Royals would probably play two of it's seven home matches in Ahmedabad. We have a large fan base in Gujarat which also is a catchment area for Rajasthan Royals. But playing a match in Jodhpur, the home town of Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot would not be possible for now. We need to develop more facility there," Utkarsh said.

Asked if the ongoing power struggle within the Rajasthan Cricket Association could change the equation with the government since it was known to be close with president Lalit Modi, Utkarsh said the CM has assured all possible help.

"The vice-chairman of Rajasthan Royals, Ranjit Barthakur, met Ashok Gehlot recently and was assured all help. The IPL being played here is a matter of pride and we also want to promote Rajasthan tourism through it," said Utkarsh who ruled out any disputes with RCA in Modi's absence.

"Modi is commissioner of IPL. His presence or absence in RCA does not affect us. We pay to RCA for every match and it acts as a facilitator between Rajasthan Royals and the IPL as well as the Government," he said.
