Mumbai, September 27: : After a long delay, the Cricket Board finally launched its official website today following the conclusion of its 79th AGM at which Shashank Manohar took over as its President from Sharad Pawar.

The BCCI website, www. bcci.tv, will offer millions of Indian cricket fans across the world deferred streaming video and mobile content apart from 'live' scoreboard of matches, player interviews, profiles, statistics and fan interaction.

The website is being produced and maintained by Global Cricket Ventures, which also manages the official IPL site www.iplt20.com, as per a ten-year agreement it has signed with the BCCI. Pawar said that it will help in bringing Indian cricket fans closer to the game.

"I'm happy that this alliance between Global Cricket Ventures and the BCCI will further significantly enrich the user experience for the Indian cricket fans around the world with a direct window to the on-field action through next generation technologies", he said.

"I'm certain the forthcoming India-Australia series itself will generate a lot of traffic to the BCCI website," said Satyajit Swaminathan, president of GCV.

dress for indian team
by koshy on 2010-06-07 13:50:17.660836+05:30
i request bcci to stick to the old dress colour of light blue , as you will notice and past records will authenticate my views , right from the time sunil gavaskar team won the champion of champion trophy to t20 win under dhoni , all were wearing light blue , every time any other colour other than light blue we have lost badly . we do not loose any thing by just changing the colour to light blue (same colour worn by dhoni team which won the t20 world cup) regards koshy
