I didn't do anything, says Harbhajan

Brisbane, March 3:: Harbhajan Singh, at the centre of a fresh controversy for allegedly making monkey gestures at the SCG crowd, on Monday vehemently denied any wrong doing and said no evidence could be produced to prove him guilty.

All hell broke loose when Harbhajan's name was splashed across all major newspapers of Australia, accusing him of flimsy charges to have "aped" a monkey in front of a provocative crowd while he was fielding at the square leg fence after completing his quota of overs.

The day unfolded quickly with first the news filtering in that Channel 9 has not been able to provide any evidence in support. By afternoon it was a big relief that International Cricket Council (ICC) had not been able to progress any further on the matter for the same reason.

When The Indian spinner was informed that the official broadcaster might not have any incriminating evidence to offer to the match referee to nail him down, he was not surprised.

"Obviously, they wouldn't have anything because didn't do anything," said Harbhajan on arriving in Brisbane, looking to build on to his fabulous performance of on Sunday with a series-sealing triumph at Gabba.

Harbhajan was the toast of the Indian team, and the nation, with his match-winning 2 for 38 from 10 overs, which stalled the World Champions' progress and gave India a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three finals.

Hi AllPlease do not blame Australians for the behaviour of Aussie Channel 9. The channel always starts controversy, its main aim is to manufacture the news and sell adds. Australians are gentle people. I live here and I have lot of friends. When you talk about cricket you can say what you like to Ponting and Co but not to Australians. I hope I made my point.

It is surprising that Aussie are finding fault everything an Indian player does on or off the field. They are called Rotele in hindi. They did not mind when a beemer was thrown by Lee to the great Sachin and they have all the lame excuses for the same. But when the another great Bhajji moved on the field he became eyes sore for them. Strange sportmanship in a sports loving country. Come on to India and attend Baba Ramdev Camp for a day or two and learn a lesson of keeping physically and mentally fit in the civilised society.

Bhajji, do not scratch your armpits while in OZ! Ask some Aussie to do it. The Aussies are good at scratching. Their ancestors lived in prisons without water, wihtout cleaning and withought a shower or a bath! and they had to scratch their dirty bodies a lot!

Quite possibly true 200 years ago, How many Indians TODAY live without running water, without a shower without cleaning, it would be close to 200 million I would say.
